“Kulcha” is a “Kriol” term which refers to the word- Culture. The Kriol culture in Central America consists of a population with mixed roots, mainly the descendants of British settlers and African slaves that were brought there in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Slaves were taught English, so Kriol language became a version of English which has African words. 

Roses are a traditional flower symbolizing love and passion in many Latin and Central American cultures. Kulcha Blossom highlights the colors blue , pink , and yellow . Blue is a sacred spiritual color and is used in many Central American flags. Pink is a color of gratitude and is used in celebrations. Yellow is a color of respect and mourning and is also used to honor ancestors. The beauty and fragrance of the rose blossom reminds us of paradise.

Traditional clothing in Central America blends Mayan roots with influences from Garifuna, Mestizo, and Kriol cultures. The Kriol population has adopted the use of vibrant fabrics and patterns in their attire, reflecting the blend of Africa and the Caribbean. The rich celebration of culture is displayed in Kulcha Blossom’s colorful floral pattern of layered frills.
